Join the AWS & Flux7 8/24 Austin Bootcamp #Microservices #AmazonECS

Join us Thursday, August 24th in Austin, TX for a dynamic one-day microservices architecture and Amazon ECS workshop session.

In this workshop, you will learn how Amazon services like
EC2 Container Service, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild can come together to create a platform for developer teams to focus on their application, while still being able to interact with other application components. We will see the microservices developer model in action and show the resulting independence offered to developer teams. The workshop will be facilitated by Chris Burns – AWS Solution Architect, Ali Hussain – Flux7 CTO, and Deric Miguel – Flux7 DevOps Engineer.

If you are familiar with Docker and AWS but want to know more about microservice architectures, then this workshop is ideal for you. Attendees will:

  • Gain an overview of microservices architectures
  • Get hands-on to deploy an ECS-based microservices platform
  • And, while our hands are dirty, we’ll use our labs to showcase developer benefits on a microservices platform
  • Get a deep-dive of the operational design of the microservices platform

Space in our lab is limited, so please RSVP today to reserve your spot. Additional details can be found here as well. Please note that prior working knowledge of AWS basics and Docker is a prerequisite. If you are in need of a Docker primer, check out the tutorial provided by Flux7 here: https://www.katacoda.com/flux7/scenarios/lab . In addition, the lab will be hands-on and will require participants to have GitHub accounts.
