Letter from the CEO: Flux7 Expands IT Services Portfolio

Today we announced a new and evolved portfolio of services to help enterprises design, architect and self-manage digital business technology platforms that support digital transformation and growth. I’m excited to share this new service portfolio with you.

As an organization that embraces continuous improvement, we are constantly reflecting on how to best serve the business, technology and process requirements of our customers. The demands on our customers have evolved a great deal over the past couple years, and as a true partner, we’re evolving alongside them. 


Specifically, as our customers look more and more to how technology can directly impact business value and support strategic business initiatives, we are similarly aligning our portfolio of IT consulting offerings to pillars that help enterprise technology leaders define and deliver technology platforms that support digital transformation. 


Aligning our product portfolio with these business values plays a critical role in supporting new business directions, revenue streams, and digital experiences — all of which directly impact corporate revenue and success. 


According to Gartner analysts Bill Swanton and Hung LeHong, in their February 4, 2019 report, A Digital Business Technology Platform Is Fundamental to Scaling Digital Business (available to Gartner subscribers), “Many enterprises have ambitions to become digital businesses. Therefore, CIOs need to evolve their current IT landscape into a digital business technology platform to support the new experiences, offerings and business models.” Yet, Bill Swanton notes in his November 26, 2018 report, How to Build a Digital Business Technology Platform (available to Gartner subscribers) that “CIOs cannot buy a digital platform, so they must build one themselves.”

4 -The last link in the chain is where technology execution enters. Here technologists execute on the vision, strategy and direction with the appropriate tools, whether that be continuous integration pipelines, IT automation, security, or something else.
